Encourage Someone Today

We should look for opportunities to encourage someone. To help each other.
Somebody saw something in you and reached out to help you. That act of kindness
determined where you are today. The person may have been you preacher, a leader,
parent, friend, teacher, coach, neighbor, or just someone who gave you extra money,
prayers, good advice, or the right equipment and supplies.

That individual had the foresight and the resources to invest in you and to take a risk on
your future.

In Proverbs 3:27 NKJV – Do not withhold good from those to who it is due, when it is in
the power of your hand to do so.

You have something in your possession that can bless someone. Maybe it is a timely
word, a much-needed piece of advice, a monetary gift to meet a need, or a simple thank
you for a job well done.

I have a challenge. Take a few minutes this week and send a note to people or call them
who have significantly affected your life. Take a few minutes to help someone else get
ahead. You will find this to be one of the most satisfying experiences you can have.
Choosing God’s will in our own lives make those around us better. Invest in somebody
today. Believe in that person. Offer support and encouragement. Help that person rise
to another level.

By helping others, you can’t help but rise higher yourself. Eph.6:8
