Things To Become That Does Not Cost Money

Things To Become That Does Not Cost Money 1. Become a Healer We can all probably be classified as healers or hurters. There are far too many hurters in the world today. Some people hurt others with gun and knives. Some hurt with words and put downs. Some makes things better; some makes things worse. In the parable of the good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37, Jesus was trying to explain how we should treat our neighbors. A man was beaten, robbed, and left for dead beside the road. Three people happen along in succession. The first was a priest. That was fortunate. Surely, he would help, but he didn’t. For some reason, he passed by on the other side. A Levite was next, for some reason, he too passed by on the other side. Then a Samaritan came by. Remember the Samaritans were on the bottom end of the social totem pole. No one would help him if he were the only one lying there. But he had pity on the man and helped him. Jesus sums it up in vs. 36 with a question and answer in vs 37. Are you a healer or hurter?
