The Blessings and Benefits of Problems (Part 2)

The Blessings and Benefits of Problems (Part 2)

Romans 8:17-18

We have learned that problems are a part of life.  We looked at two benefits and blessing of problems.

First, problems can lead us to a state of humility.

Second, problems can teach us patience.

Today we look at two more.

Third, problems can cause us to deepen our relationship with the Lord.

God placed His very Spirit within us.  2 Cor. 1:21, 22; Eph. 1:13-15

God’s desire is that we know Him in a deeper way each day.  Phil. 3:10

God desires that we remember Him and rely on Him in everything we do.  Eph. 5:18-20

Problems and trials have a way of bringing us to the end of our self-sufficiency.  2 Cor. 12:7-10

Fourth, problems can open doors for ministry to others.

God’s plan is for the believer to be fruitful.

He desires that we bear the fruit of people!

God wants us to impact others for Christ.

When you are going through a problem, remind yourself of two things:

  1. I am not the only one.
  2. Others need my help. 2 Cor. 1:4-6

Some of the most powerful ministries that could ever start in this church will start as a result of the problems that each of us have encountered and battled through.

God desires to do a work in you.

He also desires to do a work through you.
