How to Face Our Jordan

Joshua 3:1-15

I want us to examine how we face the Jordan’s in our life and learn the spiritual principles that enable us to overcome instead of being overwhelmed.

The Challenge – 1-4

• His challenge involves our commitment to:
• Watch God 3:3
• Follow God 3:3
• Honor God 3:4

The Command – 5-8

• Consecrate means to insure that you are as clean and holy before you face the overwhelming obstacle in your life.

The Commitment – 3:9-13

• If God could be trusted in those days to keep His promises, then He can still be trusted today.
• 6: 33,34; Phil. 4:19; Heb. 13:5; Phil.4:6,7; Rom. 1:17; Rom. 14:23

The Result – 15

• God will require us to take steps of faith in order that we might see our Jordan parted.

Conclusion:

The Lord is greater than any problem we have or will ever face in life.
