Where Are Your Priorities?

Haggai 1:3-9

• There are a lot of things that are clouding our mind taking our focus off God.
• We need to learn that God will tune in when we turn around.

         2 Chronicles 7:14

What priorities do we need to establish?

• Make God the center – Vs 2-4

• The people needed to return to God.
• Without Him, they could never be fulfilled in life.
• Without Him, something would always be missing.
• They needed to make God a priority.
• If you and I put our purposes above God’s priorities, we will never get what we are after.
• A priority is not an issue of time; it is an issue of the heart.

         Matt. 6:21

• What do we really care about today? 

      God and His work?  OR    You and your own life?

• Trust God the giver – Vs 5-7

• Things cannot satisfy us, only God can.
• Jesus wants us to seek Him.  Matt. 6:33
• God is the giver and sustainer of life.

      Ecclesiastes 6:7; Psa. 23:1

• Give God the glory – Vs 8-9

• God’s glory comes first.
• We are to look to God and be in His will.

We are to glorify God

with our life,

with our works,

with our ministry.
